Misa & Oreo
(written by their Mom Barbara)
I have known Terry Kelley since 1997, and what impressed me the most,
when I first met her, is her dedication to our furry friends. First and
foremost, Terry Kelley is deeply concerned with and deeply involved with
all aspects of pet ownership, health care, and companionship. Watching
Terry interact with her own pets, my pets, and other's pets, it is obvious
animals connect with her, and she with them on a deep level.
Terry has excelled in her studies of veterinary medicine as a veterinary
technician, as well as a certified behavioral trainer and evaluator. I've
had the priviledge of watching her train several fear/aggressive dogs into
social canine companions. She has been present during one of my saddest
moments where I've needed to let go of one of my favorite cats, and Terry
was there for my cat and me with compassion and support.
Terry is the person I trust my two dogs, and sometimes my five cats with
when I am away. One of my dogs is epileptic with notable hip dysplasia,
medication induced ataxia, separation anxiety and needs regular and
knowledgable medical care to ensure his continued good health. Her care is
the only care he has had where he has come home in great shape and not seized
with several days of returning.
Prior to being placed in her care, he would often return from the kennel
with his housetraining broken and would seize within two days. My other dog,
Misa, thrives in her care as well, and has improved in her housetraining and
home behavior in spite of her rather hyperactive personality. Both my dogs
seem very comfortable with Terry and they seem to enjoy the time they have
spent with her. My cats have also occassionally spent time at Terry's and
they seem much less stressed than in other pet care facilities.
Terry has also been instrumental in raising my awareness of my pets needs,
and in improving my personal pet care. I have learned many useful and pet
friendly care tips from Terry, as well as accessing further information about
dealing with animals in general, and identifying potential problem behaviors
before they become problems.
I am happy to recommend to you Pet Tech and Transport Services, LLC to
you as an alternative to any kennel, no matter how "pretty". Terry is a
person for whom animals come first! That's the kind of person I want caring
for my pets, don't you?
Sincerely,
Barbara Haglind
